Review from the 48hrs forums:

Fargish
"It Returned to the Abyss"
(Sci Fi)

"This opened with ultra stylish b/w 50's style credits, making me sit up and drool with anticipation, then cut into modern day, which was disappointing because it had looked Really Good. Slowly and happily, it won me back with a simple and touching story about a woman who finds a sea creature and takes him home. She fights for their relationship against society, but it's all in vain when he has to return. Well made with some cool gags, nice costumes and a mesmerising lead actress working well against a nicely acting swamp-man. Potential finalist." 4.5/5

Joy!

48hr FarGish

So we've decided to form a team for the 48 Hours Furious Filmmaking competition - and we have called it FarGish. Why FarGish?..... long story... longer than what i am prepared to write right now. Anyway, The competition starts on the 27th of May, which is basically about 2 weeks away from this post.
Its basically is a competition where you form a team to make a short movie over the course of 48hours, thats from concept through to writing, production, post production and completion. We figured we should be used to this sort of thing bacause waaaay back in the day when we were teenagers we used to muck around making mindless little movies all the time, so this should be a piece of cake.

Our team consists of about four or five core people, with a handful of others which have agreed to be on hand to help out if we need it - depending on what the movie actually IS that we are going to make, of course, greatful thanks go out to those people in advance.

Can't wait!
