Weta wins another BAFTA

Congrats to the awesome team at Weta Digi and Workshop for such primo work on King Kong.

We went up against the likes of Batman Begins, Narnia: The Lion, the witch and the Wardrobe, Charlie & the Chocolate factory and Harry Potter and came out on top!

Up to Da Time - P-Vans

Ok so I finally got off my arse and decided to write another tune. Def much better production than my previous efforts. This tune will feature in our Bros Mogg film Beanz in bg of the Party Sequence along with the Beanz P-Vans remix Which DJ Nu also plays during the scene. Tune can be downloaded here on my myspace profile. This tune has an oldkool sci fi feel mixed in with a duo of Ragga UK MC's spouting "Up to da time! Up to da time! Up to the second day and night. You know we respond to the movements!" Total dancehall offbeat rhythym section at the breakdown. Check it!

Wicked start to 2006!!!

Wow!!! FUCKIN HEAVY! Amazing! That's all I can say about this gig. Darin McPHadden continues to amaze me with his next level sound and his ruggid party vibe. he blended a fine combination of unreleased Dub Reggae Breaks tunes from the likes of Control Z and Screwface and amazingly fresh Dubstep sounds from the likes of DJ Scream and Control Z!
I had the best time with free bar tab for doing the poster ;) perks of the job and with all good freinds. Everyone was having it large that night and on a thursday night! It was packed.
My P-Vans support set went primo and got increadibly hard hitting as the punters at Sandwiches packed on to the dancefloor. Highlights of my set were definately Merka's "Mystic Man" and Cantankerous vs Backstage Sluts "Fuckoff Pissoff" mixed in to Plump DJ's "Soul Vibrates" Massive Massive Massive! Big ups for everyone who made it out to this exlusive Badass Breaks night. Best night I'd had in ages with the best tunes I have ever heard in ages! More Massive Breaks gigs to come in the near future for Wellington. Stay tuned!!!
